I have to come up with a presentation on any topic to be presented to my fellow teachers. But the topic has to be related to students, school, academic or even teachers. No need to be original because it doesn't count as long as I deliver a message to the teachers. If you can't get me a simple presentation, please give me an idea about what to present.
Thanks a lot....

I have been doing a presentation on Pluto is not a planet.

I put up a bulletin board with the pictures of the planets with special pages showing Ceres, Pluto, and Eris.

You don't write like a teacher. Are you actually a fully qualified teacher working in the K-12 or post-secondary school system? If you were, you would know that it's essential to tailor your presentation to the audience. Are they all going to be ECE educators? Do they work in an especially diverse school system or one that mainly attracts students of a particular SES? If you give us more information about the audience we could help you out more. Otherwise, present on something that third parties have identified as one of your strengths during your observations and evaluations. What does your principal think you're especially good at? Why not do a presentation on that subject?

Standardized testing might be a good subject to research and discuss with other teachers. Is too much pressure being put on standardized tests and does it affect students academically?
Another interesting topic might be the role of junk food in schools, there has been plenty of research and debating done on the subject so it should be easy to find information.
One more topic which I find extremely interesting is the role of corporations and media in schools. So many schools have billboards, book covers, posters, etc. displaying logos from corporations who provide the schools with money. Some schools even have to include commercials on their daily announcements. The question is whether or not these advertisements affect students.
I hope one of these topics will work for you.
