I'm looking for links or info about Francis Marion, aka the Swamp Fox in the Revolutionary War. I need it for my History Day project (I'm in 8th grade). And please don't say 'Wikipedia' or 'Google,' I'm not that stupid.

Have you tried simply putting his name in the search box? You'll likely come up with more information than you could ever use, but at the same time, you;ll probably come across what you're looking for.

francis marion's cheif opponnet was a tory by the name of tareleton who sided with the english loyalists of which there were many amongst the "landed gentry" tied to the mother country by customs,trade and parentage!!

I remember the Disney programs on him. I think he is one of the coolest Revolutionary heros.
