I am 5 months pregnant and I get pains too. It is probably just your muscles and ligaments stretching but you should see a doc to make sure.

Hey up. I think you could be having Braxton Hicks contractions. Dont worry, these are what is known as practise contractions. I was concerned cause i started getting them last week and i am 17 weeks now. These are the uterus practicing birth. Researching them, as long as you aren't getting 4 or more an hour that are 12 minutes apart, you should be ok, or if the pain is more uncomfortable then painful. Mine, make me take a second and have a deep breathe cause it is a strong sudden feeling that tenses but they are not regular intervals apart so i kinda know what they are. If you are getting a radiating pain going from your back through to your front, this could indicate preterm labour and you need to see a doctor/midwife asap. This is only based on what i have read. I strongly suggest you get in contact with your midwife and tell her about these pains you are having to make her aware and to see what she says. She will be the expert. It will also put your mind at rest and stop worrying. Best of luck. You sound a brave girl. Good luck x

well first off it depends where your pains are and how small you were before you got pregnant if they are in your abdomin your lower stomach area it could be because your baby is growing and your growing i had the same problem my first 6 months in my lower stomach i kept going in for it they gave me so many ultra sounds and found nothing wrong with the baby i came to find out that it is my ligaments streching because my body was small before i got pregnant i was 109 before i got pregant and am now 137 also i am due in january and am expecting a girl i hope that everything goes okay with you and you little one i don't look at you any different because of your age age is a number i am only 18 and just got married on the 20th of october they say im to young take it easy email me back if you like i'll help you as much as i can on any questions peace marlayna

Due to the stretching that is going on inside your body this is normal and you will probably have it worse than most due to your age so I am sorry to say the next 4 months will not be easy. I just had my first at 29 and well the stretching can be very hard on you and scary due to you do not really know what to expect.

Probably just your insides stretching. I was 16 when I had my son. You aren't physically ready to be pregnant at 13, and your body has to adjust. Good luck, and keep your head up. :)

It's your hips spreading as the baby grows. I remember those pains, too. I also had sciatica, having to do with the sciatic (sp) nerve.

Good luck, honey. I hope you have a strong support system with you. God Bless xoxo
