how about a guy living in a nice home(huge),many servants/maids,rich,a job,a hot g/f,and etc. but he loses everything in just one night....and became a homeless on the streets...

This ones called Glasses.This guy Baron Oakley who works for a eyewear place had rather thick glasses himself,but laser surgery was expensive and well on his salary at Second Site Eyewear he just couldn't afford it right now.So he saves and finally gets the surgery he desperatly wanted plus a little more!Things are going good till one day while fixing a strange pair of glasses he decides to try them on for old times sake.As soon as he tries them on a flash and he's now standing over a bloody corpse much worse than any movie.He freaks jerking the glasses off he's back at the eyewear place he never left.That's becuase Baron has a new gift to see what other people see through their glasses and he just witnessed a murder.Now What!!!!!!!!

Start with a an object you know of. Think of a story around it. Think of the conflict that object may have (or could) create.
Add some interesting characters, especially ones who contrast one another.
Don't forget the imagery.

The best way to write a short story is to write it about something or stuff you know!!!! That could be anything, you could write about your job, your friends, anything!!!!! It is easier when you stick to what you know!!!! You just have to let it come to you, really think about it and just start writing!!

But seriously, a good idea would be to write about something that interests you, or something that's fun.
Consider writing about a personal experience, but my older brother tried that, and it turned into an expository essay. Go figure...

depends on how long of a short story.
Think of a true event or vacation and have someone go on an adventure there. or write about something you really know about. it depends on what genre too.

idk it could be about nething write about a girl walking thro the woods and getting killed my a monster
or how gay guys get all the girls to fall in love w. them and then they get their hearts broken..
well that wouldln't be a short story that would be a BOOK
