he is accepting of you just the way you are. if he recognizes and appreciates the qualities you possess, and you feel the same for him, then it's not only fortunate but natural as well that the two of you came to deserve and appreciate each other's love. your needs and desires have become one, and a most intimate (emotional!) love has blossomed because of it.
he sounds like an appreciative fellow, and he is probably asking himself ("pinch me!") the same question you are. acceptance, admiration, tolerance... all make the other shine even more brightly in the other's eyes than they do already.

Have you ever thought of the reverse...? What I mean is do we deserve everything we get, esp. if the result is bad/painful? If you are a Christian, read the book of Job...even if you're not a Christian, read the book of Job...there's much biblical philosophy (if we can call it that) and profound theology on the nature of suffering and rewards...
In the end the sun shines and the rain pours on us whether we deserve it or not.... See Isaiah...

Sometimes we all just luck out. I look at my wife and wonder the same thing.
If you're looking to see how you "deserved" his love, if he loves you then he obviously sees something dear in you. He probably feels just as fortunate to have found you!
Be kind, loving, and patient to your man, and if he's any man at all he'll return your love tenfold.

I do not know. I went to your 360 file, for back ground and saw ( shudder!! ) pictures of cats. It is to be hoped that your " good " man is a dog lover.
