I am 39 weeks pregnant, ever since last night my lower belly has felt hot, I feel like im having period pains, and just feel yucky and sick,
Does anyone know what could be happening inside me to make me feel like this????????????
Never had these symptoms with my first pregnancy...........

Congratulations on your pregnancy,
Every pregnancy and labour is different with every child, I had this feeling of just been odd like I knew it was something but wasn't sure what, I also had period pains as my labour pains and very warm belly during my first pregnancy but then with my second it was completely different, everything was in a different order and I was stumped.
For example, my first his waters broke 5 mins before birth, had a long 9 hour labour and was able to sleep in between contractions up until the end.
My second her waters broke 3.5 hours before birth and even before labour started, the labour was full on from start to finish and lasted 55 mins.
It was like what I expected then in reverse, so don't expected anything and you won't be disappointed. It sound like your in pre-labour or labour especially because your so close to your estimated due date, Ring your hospital or GP and ask if you can just get a check up as your feeling off and think that something is going on but your not sure what. I found heating when I was dilating, so always better to be safe then sorry, if you get checked out and its nothing at least you know but then again it could be the start and its better to be checked then wait till its to late and have bub on the way. I had the same feelings when i went into labour, but i didn't think it was cause i was only at 29 weeks. I had the pains on and off all day and i finally spoke to my hubby at work and he came home and we went to the hospital and it turned out i was in labour. Best wishes.

I had crampy period like pain when I went into labour with both my kids!!! Sort of a raunchy cramp feeling??? Get ready

Intense period cramps are what I had when I went into labour...get ready!!! Good luck with everything...hope all goes well for you and the baby!

not sure myself i had to be induced... my little one wasnt gonna come out for anything. Nut it could be that your baby "dropped" and is deffinatly getting ready for the journey through the birth canal. Wouldnt be suprised if you went in the next few days.

let your doctor know.. but sounds like"congratulations" your starting labour, i felt the same, when i went into labour both times

Let your dr's office know, in case it's something they want to see you for-- but it sounds like your body is getting ready for labor day! Good luck! xoxo

I couldn't say what it could be. Put in a call to dr and see what they say.
