i dont know how to design database for my application. i am confused that how many tables i need and how can i make relation between them. where can i learn all this.

its not a matter of judgement its all upto us. first write down your application requirements on paper. second segragate details for their applications. finally sort them into table. relationship always comes and setup with their ID.

what do you need the database for? you might want to look into mysql, its free and open source.
