First off, I hope that you have all of your rabbits in their own cages. Rabbits aren't like cats or dogs, and the less dominate rabbits will lots of times die from stress, with not a mark on them.
What I do is something called palpating the rabbit. About 10 days later, you put your doe on a flat surface. Reach under her belly and gently squeeze upwards. The babies will feel like grapes. Don't hurt the mother to be, or she could lose all of her babies. You could practice on a partially blown up balloon with a few grapes in it.
If the doe pulls hair out and makes a nest on the 18th day, she is going through a stage of false pregnancy. She thinks that she is pregnant, but she isn't. You can breed her back in three days.Any sooner then that, she might fight the buck.
A rabbit will have babies on the average of 30 days. If she is only having a few, add a couple of days. If she has many in the litter, she might only go 28 days.
Make sure that you have a nest box with hay or straw for her about a week or so before she is due. Keep stangers and loud noises away from her. This could get her so nervous and upset that she could stomp her babies to death, or maybe even eat them.

My rabbits had babies twice and the first and second time the male would pull fur out of the females neck and the female would pull fur off her stomcah and they would build a nest for the babies... she was sleeping more...eating more and themale left her alone a bit more except he would check on her a lot which was really sweet but the easiest way to see if you have a pregnant animal is to take the m to the vet or just wait a while and see if it has babies.

no longer all rabbits will teach signs and indicators that they are pregnant. What you're pertaining to is named palpation. Palpation is the place you're taking your hand and push up into the tummy to experience for the youngsters. At 10-14 days they must be around and experience with reference to the dimensions of a marble or grape. Palpation isn't the least confusing to do or maybe long-time breeders have difficulty doing it. often, I decide to ensure the doe back in with the dollar to make certain if she acts otherwise or if she will enable the dollar to reproduce her back. yet differently is to exhibit screen the burden of the rabbit. A Holland Lop will in all probability benefit a pair of quarter pound to in all probability particularly under a pound in the process the pregancy.

sometimes it is hard to detect pregnancy in rabbits. I have raised lots of rabbits and had surprises!!! Females will pull out their fur to nest approximately 24-48 hours before birthing, but there are no definite signs besides and enlarged abdomen and weight gain (if you can tell) What breed is she??

well, statistics would indicate that it's it's a female rabbit, it's probably pregnant. The term didn't come out of thin air.

I don't know a whole lot about rabits, but I do know they will start to nest. They will pull furr out of their bellies where it is the softest and make beds out of it for the little ones. they will line it in furr and they will put furr on top of them when they are born.
