I'd hug back inmost cases. If she was hot I'd try to get her phone number and keep Mr. Happy calm. :)

some people would freak out and think some thing is wrong. I my self would pro ably hug them back. Wondering two things. Do i know this person. Or is this person trying hurt/steal from me? But Likely they thought I need a hug for some reason. and gave me a hug. Or they just like to hug strangers. . Just might be over extreme nice person like i once was. But then again you got to be careful on that . so you don't give hurt your self giving hugs so freely. (if this is your that is doing or you know some one)

I would probably push the person away. I'm not all that comfortable with physical contact from family, let alone strangers.

You know what? It really depends. I can safely say I would probably receive a female's hug much better than a male's, though.

Truly freak - I don't even let my friends or mother hug me. There is such a thing as personal space.
