No Polyester does not shrink as much as cotton.Actually Poylester doesnt shrink.For every wash cotton will be shrinking but where as polyester does not shrink on washing.

polyester does not shrink unless it is also combined with cotton. if it is also combined with cotton, tell your friend to wash it in cold water and hang to try if its that big of a deal to have it not shrink. hope this helps

No, 100% cotton shrinks the most!
