Please, please, please see a doctor about this. My aunt did 2 years ago, and was diagnosed with hemmorhoids. When the condition reappeared 1 year later, she figured it was once again hemmorhoids. She was wrong. After waiting a few months to see the doctor, she finally saw him and was diagnosed with rectal cancer. She has just finished 2 months of chemo/radiation. You may not have anything serious, but why put it off? This is not going to help anything.... GO SEE A DOCTOR !!

There is a number of reasons. These could range from something little like a tear or an aggravated hemmoroid. However, if also be something more serious like an ulcer, or cancer.

I know it is emabarrassing, but have it checked out. Better to be safe.

Changing the diet can also let you know if it is a hemmoroid or strain due to fiber intake. Increase fruits/vegtable/water intake and see if it makes it any better and if the bleeding stops

They could either have a palup, or a tear in the inside lining. or there may have been a scratch, and every time it has healed, the person may need to use the restroom soon, stretching the scratch, and reopening it. They might want to see their doctor, and see what they have to say about it.

They might have hemorroids from exerting too much pressure trying to poo. It happens sometimes and is nothing to get really worried about. There are OTC drugs for these. However, if the problem persists for a couple of days, you may have to get a doctor check it out.
