I am going on a cruise in one month and I just started my period, which means I will be on my period when I go on my cruise. How do I postpone in when it starts in December. I want to enjoy my cruise with my hubby without worrying about my rag. I am not on the pill.

The only way to do this is to use hormones. Talk to your doctor. You can use any monophasic combined pill to skip your period when you want. Also, Seasonalle is just a marketing ploy! You can use any pill to skip your periods so much that you have 4 or less peroids per year.

I am not too sure how to stop a period but really you could try, if your up to it, use a tampon so you can go swimming and all that, but really if your period is regular, then it may come when the cruise is on, but still, if your period is irregular or you've got them for the first time, it may be possible that you might skip your period, for a month or a few days.

I would talk to your gyno first but I am pretty sure that you can manipulate your period to not come by taking birth control and skipping the placebo pills. There are also birth control pills called Seasonale that make you have your period only four times a year so that may help you not get your period next month. Good luck!

You probably can not postpone it just use tampons for discreetness.
