The Internet is a wonderful tool for finding a job. I found my current job by looking online. I even applied for it online! Sites like craigslist, careerbuilder, and monster are all great resources for finding a job. With monster, you can even post your resume and someone may call you.
The newspaper is good too though. It is sometimes a lot more current than what is posted online.
Another thing you may want to do is go to the websites of some companies that you may be interested in working for. A lot of times they will have job oppourtunites posted, and often you can send your resume or apply on their site.

I do all 3 when looking for a job...I print out like 30 resumes before I go driving, always be prepared some places are out of applications..I just recently got a job applying over the internet, it takes a lot of typing and looking..I applied to about 50 and one called back, the lucky one..lol..I've gotten about 5 jobs online..that's pretty good for the past 8 years...The paper is good that way you know whereabout to go driving.
