You are right -- never going to happen. Shouldn't happen. Would not be just. I thought Saddam had been in power for 30 years before he was deposed. I also thought Dubya didn't become president until January 20, 2001, long after Saddam came to power. Doesn't add up. He was certainly in power at the time of the first Gulf War, when Iraq under Saddam invaded Kuwait and 41 intervened. So even 41 didn't put him in power. He was already in power. Still doesn't add up. What are you talking about?

G. Bush did not put Saddam in power.
Where did you get that information from?
Saddam was the chief of the secret service in his country.
He physically eliminated all Bath members he knew would oppose him and captured power by himself.
"Bath" was his political party.
