IF they win, they will have no choice but to work with the President. Since they have no plan.

Why do Republicans, still, three years later confuse the terrorists and the Iraqis?
The democrats would have worked with Bush to fight the terrorists who attacked us (in Afghanistan). You don't hear any democrats criticizing this effort.
The democrats are fighting against Bush creating a whole new army of anti-American terrorists (in Iraq) because the war there was not warranted, not needed and not in our best interests.

I would think the Dems sitting on the intelligence committees and what not are helping. I doubt if he is asking for help. In reading about the way the government operates, the two parties are much more isolated from each other now. This started in 1994 after the GOP revolution. The leadership advised members not to socialize with the other party. That could lead to compromise. Outside of that, the rise of talk radio and cable political shows have been very destructive. I shoul know.

Because Bush's policy of bombs and blasting, arrogance and imperialism is creating more terrorists than we ever dreamed of. Put yourself in the shoes of a muslim who is not a terrorist. His family is slautered by cluster bombs supplied by the US, or maybe a family member is picked up by the CIA, brought to Gitmo and tortured for 18 months before the military decides to finally look into his life and realize that he was just a baker after all. or maybe because we had no business invading Iraq since they had nothing to do with 911. Think about it.

I can't speak for the Democrats, but I don't believe the terrorists can be defeated by military means or a warfare mentality and I don't think G.W. is ready to entertain any other options.

Some have, but with the elections at hand, many felt compelled to keep their political careers intact and hope the left will gain enough House and Senate seats to prove their uniformity.

Because Bush wants to pass Un-American laws to increase his own power which do not help with the war in Iraq.

Democrats generally win the wars they fight. Every American wants to defend against a terrorist! Our President invaded the wrong country while letting Afghanistan go back to the war lords and crazy people.
