Don't be mean and don't overtly lie. Just say something like "aww, congratulations. What's his/her name? How cute."

i saw one like that once. it was like a holloween mask with legs. of course being polite i had to say, "what a handsome little man you got there." of course she said, "SHE is a little girl." now my close thy mouth mechanisim was malfunctioning that day, so i replied, "we'', think of the money you'll save on prom dresses." Not too smart! Guess I should have thought it through a bit more.

You always say something positive; like "sure looks like like he/she has a bright future." Add a wink to the baby and a smile and you will be golden.

Just make sure your mate has great genes before having unprotected sex to avoid someone asking the same question because they saw your baby.

I honestly don't know. Although I am 41 and have been working in child daycare all my life, I've never seen a baby that wasn.t beautiful.

but i suppose you could tell a "white lie" and say "oh how cute". i mean come on it's just a picture of a baby.

If you are like one of my uncles, especilly when drunk you would say " Gad that's a uckly baby. I'd take it back for a refund."
What I always say is "Aww, isn't he/she precious." That way you won't be lying and you don't hurt peoples feelings.

Well dont be mean. It's just a baby, just replply with an "aww". But dont lie dont say "how cute" if you dont think he's cute. I mean dont say he's cute but dont say he's ugly either.
