Once I was walking in the hallway behind an unsuspecting dude who worked up a loogie and spit it on the floor, and then he looked behind because I guess I made an audible "eew" and he turned red and disappeared into the crowd.
Ever since that moment, it is purely amusing.

It is disgusting, but not as disgusting as when someone blows the snot out of their nose in public, and not into a tissue either. That always makes me gag. You must have seen those people that block one nostril and then blow their snot out on the ground and then do the same with the other side.

Ack! It's wretched! There is one guy at my work who always walks past my desk hoiking up a loog. I don't want to hear that! The only thing worse is when I have to answer the phone and the person on the other end is in mid-loog and they don't even bother to say excuse me.

Hocking a loogie can be a zen experience... It is not just amusing but spiritual...

Oh man you're on a roll today! Good one.

To answer your question I find it.... Disgusting, I really don't need to hear bodily functions in public... that's just gross.

Its my pet peeve. Had a roommate who did it 4,000 times a day.

I hate it!

As soon as I came in the door, he'd be doing it. We would cross paths one time (some days when we were working opposite shifts) and I'd hear one.

If I never hear one again, I've had me fair share of it, thank you for letting me vent!

It's disgusting, and there's no excuse for it, and if you're wanting to kiss me at all, you better not do that. Ever.
