Which desert has the same area as the United States?

I found that the United States has a land area of about 9,158,918 sq km (3,536,278 sq mi). The Sahara Desert has an area of about 9,100,000 km².

The Sahara, but not quite as big as the USA. But that is the question, the Sahara comes the closest.
