My face is very oily, and I found a moisturizer that I thought was working. I was using Biore Shine Control Oil Free for about a month and then my face broke out and started tingling. Apparently I was allergic to it. I am looking for suggestions for a Hypo Allergenic, oil free moisturizer that won't over dry my face, or make it too oily. I have always had a problem with an oily face. Any real suggestions would be helpful!
Thanks so much!

It's odd that it would take as long as a month to cause a skin reaction if you were using the moisturizer daily. If you are sure that it was the moisturizer that made your skin break out, then . . .

. . .you most likely had a reaction to the fragrance. Most people who are allergic to cosmetics have skin reactions to the perfumes.

My suggestion is to consider brands that are "fragrance-free" such as Cetaphil, Neutrogena, and Lubriderm, Aveeno. There are a host of other brands, but these are the most popular and/or most recommended by dermatologists.

Neutrogena Moisture for Combination Skin is a good try.

Also very important! If you have a problem with oily skin, then you must wash it at least twice a day. Again, the cleanser should be oil-free, and fragrance-free. Cetaphil, Neutrogena, and Aveeno make such cleansers. Try the Aveeno cleansing pads .

I really like the MaryKay timewise products. I have super sensitive skin and that is the only line of products that doesn't mess my skin up.
Maybe it can work good for you too?
Good luck.
