I am a person where, i dont exactly have any guys as friends, but i want to. Now i am still in school and there are guys in my classes (obviously), but i dont know how to start a conversation where it is interesting and we would then, start talking regularly to each other as friends, etc. If you were kinda shy and when you talked to guys, you would try not to say anything stupid, what would you say to start to get to know each other and be freinds, and have a conversation, etc.?

What is sad is that, the only guys i can actually talk to, are the guys on the low low social status. =( not good! Help!

take it from a guy... you are better off not having guy friends unless you want awkward moments which lead to regretable mistakes... repeated mistakes.

I have TONS of guy friends. How I do it? Well, I just treat them like their my girl friends just as a boy. See, start up a converation about school, homework, music (a very popular subject), intersting topics. You don't to bore them. Make them talk about themselves a lot, and act girlie (like twirling your hair for example) but not TOO girlie. Just be yourself and don't sweat it. It's not that hard to make guy friends. Also, if they tell you who they like, say you can help get to know the girl (unless its you :]) and you can put in a good word for your guy friend. It's not that hard! Give it a shot, and I guarentee you'll like the results!

Hi. I'm a high school girl too, and I have a few great guy friends that are like brothers to me. Making friends with guys is not that different than making friends with girls. You just talk to them like you would any of your girl friends, but leave out stuff about clothes. Just talk about movies, music, sports, or just joke around with them, and you'll be just as comfortable as you are around your female friends soon. Just don't flirt with them or talk to them about really personal stuff until you know them well, and try not to develop crushes on them, it just creates tension. It's allot easier to be comfortable around a guy friend when you aren't nervous.

I'm a VERY shy person to.. I didnt actually start talking to guys until I was in the 7th or 8th grade... just act like they are one of your girl friends when you talk to them... also remember guys dont always like girls that are perfect...

Just swallow all you fear and walk up and say hi I'm so-so what's your name? Pay attention to the person and figure out a interest they may have & start a conversation!

if he plays sports ask him about sports if u know something hes interested in ask him stuff about that n if all else fails just go up 2 him n say "hey man whats up?" workes every time (trust me)

ussually what works for me is starting a conversation by asking about lets say school work..or if youre working about work..that ussually gets a friendship started..or jsut saying hello ,,,..

Talk about what they like to talk about or lie and say i no someone who likes you then he will defidently talk to you casue he will wanna no who the chic is.
