let y = x^x
w = ln y = xlnx
then y = e^w
dy/dx = e^w * dw/dx
dw/dx = x(1/x) + lnx = 1+lnx
dy/dx = (1+lnx)*x^x

Let X=X(x) ie X is a function of x. Then,
d/dx(X(x))=dX/dx, so
raised to the X power (I hope that this is what you mean),
(dX/dx)^X should be the answer

well lets call call it x raised to the n like this (x^n)

then it is nx^(n-1)
or with the x's its xx^(x-1)
