This discussion goes on between my boyfriend and myself. Oh boy, I tell him FRONT. I'm not a control freak, but it makes me a nervous wreck. Has to be front. Funny, because this is a debate with myself and some of my family members. Yes, our conversations are weird.

It makes a major difference depending on how you pull your asswhipe off the roll. If you just grab, pull slowly, then yank for removal you should have the next piece facing the wall. Other wise it will spin spin spin a big fat old mess of paper all over the floor.

next sheet facing the front or over the top as some call it,,,,that way you see it right there and don't have to fumble for it if its next to the wall....i know,,,its like ''which side do you put the butter on the bread''.....

Sheet facing front. I get totally pissed off if my kids or the boyfriend have it turned the other way

Absolutely the front! It doesn't roll off well when it faces the wall.

facing forward (front). It should roll out towards you. It is also easier to unstick the square with your thumb and finger when it is facing you and not towards the wall.
