To me they look like styrofoam. I think the red thing is a shirt... I don't think those shoes would last very long

The red thing is a dustbag. Designer shoes/bags/etc. usually come with them; they're used to protect and store the item and keep the dust/dirt off them in the closet.
My knowledge of Bathing Ape stuff is pretty limited, but both pairs look fairly authentic to me. Try going to the website and comparing them? http://www.bape.com/
