- this question is in the wrong section. It should either be in math section or the homework section
- this question makes no sense really! what do you mean by "find CD"? Do you mean the length of the line? If you do so, then CD = [(Cx - Dx)^2 + (Cy-Dy)^2]^1/2
= [3^2 + (-11)^2]^1/2
= 130^1/2
= 11.402

Are you asking euqation of the line CD.

Equation of a line is y - y1 = m(x - x1) where m is slope calculated as

(y2- y1)/(x2-x1).
so in your case slope is (3 -(-8))/(1 - 4) = -11/3.
hence equation is

y - 3 = (-11/3)(x - 1)
3y - 9 = -11x + 11
11x + 3y = 20 is the eqn of the line.
