I notice that some of my wma files are much quieter than others. This seems to be based on the production quality of each track. For example, my Pixies tracks are quieter than my Weezer tracks, and the Clash is quieter still. That's just not right!! Any idea how I might be able to make certain files louder so I don't have to keep adjust the volume on my computer?

Here's a helpful solution. Go to www.nero.com and download that program. You might have to buy the program or you might be able to try the demo or free trial. Then when you install it, there is a helpful program called Nero Wave Editor, and it lets you import your music or record music. Depends on what you want to do. Then after you import the song you want to fix the volume of sound, go to "edit" and "select all" and then go to "volume" then in the drop down menu clikc on "normalize" it will set a volume for your song. Then click ok and click save as and save it as a WAV file or MP3 file, then do this with the rest of your songs and they will all be the same volume so that they aren't to quiet and you don't have to keep readjusting the volume. Hope that helps!
