Don't panic, you can do this...
Just start by distributing the numbers through the parentheses:
5(2x-3)=2(-3x-2)+5
10x - 15 = -6x -4 + 5
Now group letters on one side and numbers on the other, start by adding 15 to both sides:
10x = -6x - 4 + 5 + 15
10x = -6x + 16
Now add 6x to both sides:
10x + 6x = 16
16x = 16
Now divide both sides by 16:
x = 1
If you did it correctly, you should be able to plug x = 1 back into the equation and get a valid statement:
5(2(1) - 3) = 2(-3(1) - 2) + 5
5(2 - 3) = 2(-3 - 2) + 5
5(-1) = 2(-5) + 5
-5 = -10 + 5
-5 = -5 <-- check
So x = 1 is the correct answer.

Distribute and solve
5(2x-3)=2(-3x-2)+5
(5)(2x)-(5)(3)=(2)(-3x)-(2)(2)+5
10x - 15 = -6x - 4 + 5
On the right side combine the two constants
10 x - 15 = -6x + 1
Add 15 to both sides
10 x = -6x + 16
Add 6x to both sides
16 x = 16
divide by 16
x = 1

10x = -6x + 16
10x + 6x = 16
16x = 16
x = 16/16
x = 1

I trust you. They do provide out too a lot homework. the authorities tells them what must be finished, so as that they in basic terms pay interest to them. that is nonetheless quite stupid although. attempt not doing all of it straight away, yet possibly splitting it up, like possibly once you've 50 questions do 10 once you get abode, 10 a lengthy time period later, 20 even as after dinner, and 10 till now mattress. in basic terms chop up it up. it really is a lot a lot less complicated that way, and in case you get drained in basic terms go away it for later. also you should use the computer that can help you you,

You need to think of those alphabetical letters as just place holders for numbers. When you get to the end of the problem you know what numbers go in those places. Don't let it freak you out. Deal with them the same way you do with numbers (add them, subtract them, multiply them, divide them) and when you are done you have just a place holder sitting on one side and its answer sitting on the other side of the equation.
