Here's a link to several programs that will do it. Some for free. I used to use XBC (Xbox Connect). There's instructions on the page.

Basically you download a program on your computer that finds online games. You plug your xbox (using an ethernet cable) into a hub (or router). When you find the game you wanna join, you go to your network connect multiplayer section on the Halo game.

The xbox is fooled into thinking that you're conneected directly into another Xbox.

That's the basic info... each program handles the specifics differently, and have their own instructions for installation and use.

If you have a xbox, you need xbox live.

If you are playing on pc I it's free. You access it from the menu.
