I have downloaded i.e.7. All the old websites I had in 'my favorites' are still there in the favorites heading, but under the yellow star sometimes they are, but sometimes it is completely blank. Also in the top line where the web address is shown, typing a known website then hitting return often doesn't work, yet I get it straight away by going in from a favorite link or off a search engine. Any ideas to either issue?

IN IE7 /file/ unclick work offline. If this is selected
In Favorites folder the links will not show brightly.
BTW in XP The yellow star folder will be in Documents and settings/user/xxxx. Try to import again the favorites.

Your version of IE 7 may be corrupted or incompatible with your computer. Download a fresh copy of IE from the Microsoft website. If that doesn't work just go back to IE 6 or switch to Firefox. Life's too short.
