The bleach has removed the color.. You must now replace the color. Try a magic marker. Go to a art or craft store and buy several. Start with a color you think is lighter and work your way darker if necessary. It is best to error on the light side. Or you can have the carpet patched with a piece of left over. Or use a piece from a closet.

you really only have 2 choices. Bleach the rest of the carpet or die that section to match. Unless you would like to do a patch. You can take a piece from somewhere you wouldn't see like a closet or something. You cut the piece larger than the stain. Lay it over the stain making sure the nap is going the same way. Then cut around the patch. You then put it down in the spot where you remove the old piece. You can glue it down then fluff it up.

Sorry, but there is no repair for this problem. Bleach takes all color out. It will take a a professional to repatch that section of carpet, and only if they can match it with the same or similar carpet. I hope it was in a place that can be hid by: a piece of furniture or a pretty throw rug.

Bleach does not stain, it removes the dye itself from the carpet. Your only chance aside from getting new carpet would be to re-dye or paint the carpet. Chances are, you won't match the color, so you'll always see it. Get an area rug to cover the bleach. Maybe a piece of furniture?

The chemical name for bleach is Sodium Hydrochloride. Sodium and Chlorine combine to make bleach. When bleach is applied directly to a fabric without first diluting it in water, it causes the fabric or material to lose its color or pigment. The pigment releases from the the filament and is turned back to its natural color or lack of therein. This is a permanent discoloration and the only recourse is to either replace the carpet or have it died professionally.

How big is the bleached out area? If it is small (quarter sized) you could try using diluted Rit dye in a color closest to the carpet color. If it is a larger area ... It will probably have to be replaced or like the other poster suggested - cover it with a throw rug.

you can't get a bleach stain out...it has removed the color from the carpet fibers. you might be able to dye the bleached area though. i would try finding a scrap of carpet the same color, bleaching it, and then experiment with dying the scrap piece. good luck.

READ ON FROM EXPERIENCE................I clean carpets for a living. You can re-dye it yourself. All you need is powder dye from any craft store but has to be the type used for synthetic fabrics, and a pump type of spray bottle used for applying pre-spray or yard chemicals.Mix the dye with cold water, prep the area by vacuuming and mask off the area to be dyed. Then goto town and dye away!

Can't. It strips the color out. You'll need to redye it, or buy a throw rug :)
