Of course you can. It's actually the norm in every Asian country that i've visited. The food preparation is actually designed for using chopsticks. And lets face it...eating with chopsticks is just plain fun.

its okay but its kind of weird. but since it is a Chinese restaurant im pretty sure it okay. but just tell the restaurant that they are yours because if the restaurant lends out nice chopsticks, they might think that they are the restaurants.but since the restaurant only has forks and knives, im pretty sure they won't confuse your chopsticks with theirs. besides, what kind of Chinese Restaurant wouldn't even have those wooden chopsticks. don't you think that they could afford those?

A chinese resturaunt with-out chopsticks NEVER! They set their tables to cater to Europeans but We always ask for Chopsticks and have ALWAYS got them! They are always pleased too. Even our local take-away has them but you HAVE TO ASK for them.
One of the nicest memories I have is when we first asked for chop-sticks for our children and the waiter took the time to show them both how to hold them! It wasn't fancy but fairly busy.
If you aren't sure how to use them who better TO ASK?
Try it you might be surprised! The worst that could happen is they may say theyr'e Too Busy and I think if they really Dont have Chop-sticks they would see you taking your own as a compliment.

of course you can bring your own chopsticks. All chinese restasurant should have their own chopsticks for you to practice as well. I am sure the restaurant wouldn't mind if you preferred to use you own.

Once the food is delivered and the waiter has gone, fix your chopsticks to their knife and fork using rubber bands. I have seen this work. No I haven't, it's just a suggestion.
