I love the shrek movies. they are soooooo sweet, funny and cute..... this is the same company though that made the movie Antz--- which is horrible... its about death, war, corrupt government and communism....
your thoughts?

The company bought the story from a writer. Each movie is written by someone different. That's how.

I thought A Bug's Life was a million times better than Antz. Well, maybe that's because the ants in A Bug's Life didn't have such sharp features. There was also more color, like with Gypsy the moth's wings. So I would suggest A Bug's Life over Antz, definitely.

Antz was a cute movie. I liked it. Unfortunately, that's the way things are in the insect world. You have the ones who work all year getting ready for season changes and you have the ones who sit around waiting to take from those who are smaller than them. Sounds like regular everday life to me.

antz was little too grown up for its audiences, the reason why it flopped was at the time it came out cgi movies for kids was starting to pick up, and the way they advertised "antz" seemed like another cute movie, but it just wasn't. it was the first "ok " cgi movie.

it was a publicity stunt! they tried to get more ages to watch their movies so they tried to spark interests.
