You need to work on maintaining that 90% average...it gets harder to do as you get further through school (and harder still once you get *into* vet school!!)
If your school has an organised work experience program and/or careers advisor, find out if it is possible to do some work experience with your local vet clinic. Many clinics won't take school kids off their own bat because of insurance issues, but a lot will take kids through school-organised programs. It's a good way to make sure that you still think it is the career for you (exposes you to the unpleasant side of being a vet- animal suffering, euthanasia, moronic people who should never have been allowed to have a pet), rather than you making it halfway through vet school and deciding that you can't deal with it.
Once you're a little older (again, it will be hard for you now because of insurance, etc.) approach animal shelters in your area, and see if they will have you as a volunteer. Depending on where you go, this may give you an opportunity to see vets at work, and at the very least will help you develop good skills in general animal care and handling.
Once you get to your last couple of years at school, start seriously checking out the different vet schools and work out a/ which suits you best and b/ which you have the best chance of getting into. Most universities will have 'open days' allowing you to do this. Also consider your 'backup plan'. Very few people here get straight into a pre-veterinary course from high school. The vast majority of us start another degree and then have to apply to vet (and as far as I'm concerned, we make much better vets!!).
Please email me if you want. If you're in Australia, I can give you direct advice about vet schools here, etc., and can certainly still help you with more general information if you live overseas.

get high grades in everything and get into all the biology, science and chemistry classes you can get, see if you can get some experience with a vet in your area, a lot of vets will let you learn to assist with animals and you will learn things that will help you get thru vet school if you have a lot of experience with animals, and to have a great love of animals not to look at it as a money thing. aned it depends on where you live and where you want to go to. colorado as far as i am concerned has an excellent vet school in fort collins, been there.....good luck and keeep up the work and your dreams...it is a lot of work and dedication...

Science and Math are very important so concentrate on those two subjectsnas well as all your other subjects. Make sure you apply for college in your junior year. Keep your grades up, don't miss a lot of school and study real hard. Good luck.

Besides getting good grades, which seems to be the top answer here tonight, you might want to start volunteering at the local animal shelter, and wildlife rehabilitation centers in your area, doing this will give you a basis on what type of veterinarian career you want to pursue in the future.

You'll have to maintain really good grades and select the school that is right for you, when the time is right. One of the better ones I can think of is Tufts (in Mass.?). There are many others.
Just do well in school now, and cross the bridge when you get to it. Good luck.

Capture stray animals in your neighborhood and cut them open to see what makes them tick.
