is it normal to get thrush during pregnancy im only 5-6wks & im on antiboidics for my uti which isnt going away there safe also. from taking them i have gotten thrush what can i use to get rid of it?

my son got thrush when he was a baby from taking antibiotics.the doc gave him this medicine that i had to paint inside his mouth.dont worry it wont hurt you or your baby

I never got thrush but I never had to take antibiotics during pregnancy either. Thrush is a yeast infection in the mouth. Gross when worded that way huh, but it is. Your doc can give you lozenge antibiotics for it. You probably won't even have to go in to see him, just call. It may go away on its on after you finish the uti antibiotics but I would go ahead and call the doc.
