Please help me out??

Question

I had to save up courage first, before I dared pose this question, cuz it's a rather dumb one.

I always read all the answers to the questions I reply to, and if an answer is really good, I rate it with a thumbs-up.
I thought that was THE way to choose "Best answers", however,
ast week I began to suspect their is yet another way to choose a best answer to your (or a) question.

So I tried to find out HOW to do that....and have to admit that I can't figure it out. (blushing)

Please explain to me how to choose a "best answer" to my questions? (can I also pick a "Best answers" to other people's questions??

When you ask a question, go to "My Q & A" page, then click on "My Questions." Click on what question you want to bring up, and it will give you an option to "choose as best answer" for each person. For other people's questions, go to a category, then click on the "Vote for undecided questions" tab.

Hey,you blush a lot...
Here's how it is. At first only the person who asks a question gets to choose a best answer,but should he or she not want to do that the question goes in voting(after a certain time) and then anyone can vote for the best answer.
Another thing is that if you ask a question you can't choose a best answer for it until after four hours

Awwww its ok honey! No worries! The only person who can pick a best answer is the person who asks the question, like you right now...but if the 3 days are up and if the answer period is not extended then the vote goes to the group at large. You can give a thumbs up for an answer or a best answer...you get a point for every thumbs up you get for best answer and a point if someone gives your question or answer a thumbs up. At least that is how it goes to the best of my recollection...hope that helps!

u go to my questions, click the question and it wil say in a blue box to the right pick as best answer. hope that makes sense
