How can I shrink my 100% polyester short who's a little too big for me?

I just bought online it and can't exchange it due to some policy. How do we shrink polyester clothes? Is it possible to do it with a dryer machine?
Is there any tips?

too bad so sad, polyester doesn't shrink. Have a tailor or seamtress take it up for you.

sorry for the luck , but polester wont shrink, cotten does, , try pizza or you other fav food and grow into it
