Please help me out??

Question

I had to save up courage first, before I dared pose this question, cuz it's a rather dumb one.

I always read all the answers to the questions I reply to, and if an answer is really good, I rate it with a thumbs-up.
I thought that was THE way to choose "Best answers", however,
ast week I began to suspect their is yet another way to choose a best answer to your (or a) question.

So I tried to find out HOW to do that....and have to admit that I can't figure it out. (blushing)

Please explain to me how to choose a "best answer" to my questions? (can I also pick a "Best answers" to other people's questions??

(blushing even more now, cuz I'm afraid this is the right category to put my answer in...but I prefer this category above "Yahoo answers and questions".(

You can choose best answer for your own question anytime after 4 hours and before the question time expires. If you don't it goes to a vote. The thumbs up just helps the asker decide which is best. You can pick best answer to any question "in voting" and get a point for each one as well.

ok first when you make a question and everyone picks it u choose best answer then if it is really good it will be on the front of the page if not boooohoooo well just click best answer when you are making a question are u new to yahoo answers or something it sounds like you are.

It's not that difficult. You can't make up your mind in the morning as to what shirt to wear also? Just pick the best answer that is similar to the way you feel is the answer you think is best fitted to that question..

i am new to this but i dont think you can vote for your question. The person asking must choose the best answer.
