No, there is no evidence to suggest that. Even if humans destroy themselves, the planet itself will still be here. Earth has another few billion years left.

Every generation has lived in the last days of earth since Nero was throwing Christians to the lions. Our end will most likely come from an accidental launch of Russian ICBM, after their aging early warning systems mistook a computer glitch for an attack by NATO and the US against them....
There's no evidence that the end of days is here, only the high probability of an extinction level event.

Not even Close.
Every generation in history believes it is living in the "last days"...
People all the way back to ancient Greece believed that hey were seeing the signs that portended the end of the World.
Aristotle (or some other philosopher) once remarked that the youth of his day were lazy, talked back to their elders, and showed no sign of being able to carry on with civilization. He thought it was a sign of the end of his civilization. (Again--might not be Aristotle. The greek names all run together in my memory...)
The ancient Aztecs believed that their calendar proved that a five day "empty" period on their calendar was a time when the gods judged mankind and decided whether to grant them another year.
In general things are much better now in the USA than they were 200 years ago. Besides the technology we enjoy now, we also benefit from a better standard of living at even the poorest levels, better gender and race relations, among other "better" things I could mention...

The earth itself will go on for billions more years but humanity's time, I suspect, is nearing a climax. We are developing technologies that will be capable of destroying us and possibly all life on earth. This especially includes nano technology where particles could be created that seek out and destroy anything. Its would be like tailor making ultra deadly virus's. Nanos could also be made to destroy all the organics in soil so nothing could grow anymore. They could be designed to eat away the steel frames of building so they would collapse. Think about the harm explosives have caused in the hands of suicide bombers. We know there are people are malicious enough to launch world wide mass destruction if they could and soon they will have the tools to do just that.
Other paths to annihilation include computer technology where we will soon be building computers capable of sentience and self-improvement. They could improve themselves to the point of omnipotence, which could easily be the end of humanity. Lastly, of course, is the spread of nuclear bomb technology to psycho governments like Iran and North Korea. This will most likely end with detonations in our cites in the not too distance future.

We are not living in them yet. We are speeding up the process. Think about it. The last days on Earth will be filled with chaos. We are teaching our children to NOT BE God fearing people. The bible was written to give us order, rules to live by. We are teaching our children that it's ok to not believe in or not read the Bible. No matter what version you have or you are raised with. Every Bible has the basic same meaning. 1. A God or superior being whom we should fear and worship and who gives us hope that there is a more peacefull life after this. 2. Rules that we are to follow. Thou shalt not kill. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbors wife. 3. Be kind to others and help those in need.
We have taken religion out of schools, made "keeping up with the Jones's" more important than sharing with the needy. Who needs 3 cars, 2 houses, millions and billions of dollars anyway? The greedy, that's all. We are teaching our children that it's ok to see a person get mugged and look the other way. We are teaching our children that the END OF THE WORLD TIME is ok to live in.
We are the only one's who can slow this down. We have to grab our children, and show them what is right and what is wrong. We mold our children into who they will become. Look what we have done!

Over the centuries, your planet was a curious place to visit once or twice and was not considered very interesting . Sure, your wars showed us how undeveloped you are as a species. Your infantile,(in cosmic terms) dependence on god concepts does not bode well for you and neither does your penchant to breed beyond your planet's ability to sustain you. We are now showing an interest in you because it is not often that we get to observe a species commit suicide. You are so close to maturing as a sentient species and it will be a shame to see you kill yourselves. There are just not enough of you becoming rational enough to force the issue. You let the least among you determine your fate, so be it.

hmm, last days? well..if you think you will live for millions and billions of years..you do certainly need to worry about it.Else, you don't.
besides, you can't put aside the fact that there is probability of earth being destroyed by some supernatural force.
But, you don't need to worry about it. You will not feel a thing!

'The End' always brings about a 'beginning'. I focus on the Beginning not the ending. Earth is valuable, and significant and so No I don't believe we are living in 'end times' - that crapola is for the Christians.

Isn't everyone doing just that one way or another? No one really knows their time of death, could be any moment. But regardless, each day that goes by, it evidently gets closer to that time. Feels like it's here for some people though......
