Diabetic, Heart Attack, Cholesterol. I'll bet you're overweight (That's not a diss, I'm probably more overweight than you if you are.)

Go to the doctor and have a sleep study done. You've probably got a case of sleep apnea (my dad has it). Long story short, its a condition during which you stop breathing during sleep causing you to "wake up" but not to the point of being consciously doing so. It translates to you getting less than half of the usual Rapid Eye Movement (the deepest level) sleep that a person without sleep apnea would have. This results in you being tired even after you sleep for a long period of time. The doctor will most likely prescribe you a machine that forces moisturized (and possibly oxygenated) air through your nose while you sleep to keep your airway open.

If you don't have insurance to get a sleep study, try sleeping on your side and breathing through your nose when you sleep. If you can lessen your snoring, you can breathe easier.

You can get more information on sleep apnea here: http://www.sleepapnea.org/

I'm in my twenties and I'm the same way! Then again, in my case it's probably just laziness. It might be an effect of your diabetes. Are you overweight? Your post didn't mention if you were obese, for which lethargy is also a symptom. Try getting into a fitness program, even brisk walking for 30 minutes, three times a week (minimum) should give you more energy.

I don't know but I would love to know the same thing. I too had a heart attack a small one but I just don't have energy.

I was told it was Iron, depression, lack of vitamines and so on but nothing changes..I am not comfortable when I sleep at night. So when I have down time.

Its like I have no motivation left. Everythin is just Blah outside of work.

Good Luck on your search because I haven't figure it out myself yet.

Sounds like depression to me. See a Dr. you may need some medications to help you. I suffered depression for many years under the belief that there was no way medication could help. I was wrong.

Tiredness is a symptom of so many things...depression, lack of vitamin B, inactive thyroid etc...a trip to your local GP would be a good start.

My first guess would be depression or a heart problem. With your history, please see your doctor tomorrow. This could be serious.
