You get $4 every three days. I'll assume that you're paid everyday and your total salary for 3 days adds up to $4.
Let daily salary be 'x'
3x = 4
x = $(4/3).
At the end of the year, you'll have : $365x
= 365*(4/3)
=$486.666666666666666666666666666666...
= $ 486. 67 (Approx)

divide 365 by 3 and multiply by 4. you get $121. you don't get paid for the surplus days.

I you start at the beginning of the year (1st of January), then you got paid 122 times, the last payment being on the 30th of December.
So the total amount is 4*122=$488.
