I'm not the kind of girl who needs expensive clothes or name brands, the clothes I want are off the sale rack, and are inexpensive. My parents know I need new clothes, but my dad says I need to buy them myself. I get 10$ a week, I can't afford any clothes with that, MAYBE a pair of underwear. Then my brother who wants the expensive clothes get them, with just asking once! I am only wearing shorts old t-shirts, and I have ONE pair of jeans, were going to the mall and the French Quarter, is there anyway I can convince my parents (mostly dad) to buy a few shirts, and some jeans for me?

talk to your mom first if she's most llikely to side with you
and then go to him together and present your situation. explain it to him and tell him that you dont think its fair your bro gets all the expensive crap(which is the same case w/ me and my sis and i know how much it pisses you off!!!)

if all else fails, SAVE YOUR MONEY....FOR WEEKSSSSSSSSS!!!

This is a terrible fact of life, but life is not fair.

Save your $10 a week. One month you'll have $40, and over the course of the year, you'll have more than $500. Maybe your parents are trying to teach you the importance of saving your money.

Get the best, most classic, strongest pieces that you can. Try looking in recycle stores and flea markets for almost-new stuff. See if you can barter (trade) work for clothes. You don't say how old you are, but you could get a part-time job either in a clothing store or a sewing store/department, and that would get you a discount, and help you learn more about clothes.

No matter what your age, you can make more money. Do errands for neighbors, make crafts to sell to your friends, etc. If your parents come down on you for that, maybe you can bargain with them.

Also, see what you can borrow from your mom. If you are borrowing her clothes all the time, maybe she will put more pressure on your dad.

But, you'll feel so proud of yourself if you can earn the money yourself and buy it on your own, instead of begging your parents. And your parents won't be able to say too much. Tell them if they pay for it, they can comment on it.

Oh, and don't forget to save for college and life after high school. It sounds like you may want to escape as soon as possible.

Aw I'm very sorry. There are some other options to keep close to God and get a good education in the public schooling system. 1) Go to church every week. 2) Read the bible every day and pray every day. 3) Join a church club. 4) Listen to Catholic radio. If you TRULY want to go, then you will have to fight for it. Ask family members to help you get through to your parents! In the meanwhile, talk to your guidance about your bullying problems and wanting to self harm. I used to talk to them myself, they are very kind and gentle friends. :3. Also about the schooling, try and earn a scholarship so you won't have to pay. Your parents could not say no to a scholarship. Good luck xoxo!

10 bucks a week is plenty to buy cute clothes if your not shopping at stores like holister and American eagle.

try stores like ross and marshalls. save your money and then splurge on something nice.

Say, "Dad do you want me to walk around naked?" or try, "dad do you want people to make fun of me because i wear the same stuff?". Say it with a sort of puppy face.
