Do you think about your impending death much? Do you dread growing older and closer towards the day you die?

Or do you not care and say f**k it. It happens when it happens. Just enjoy life while you can.

Myself, I'm always thinking of that day when I'll take that last breath and won't ever take one more and it scares the sh*t out of me!

I'm not losing any sleep over it. It's gonna happen to everybody, but I'm not doing anything to speed it up, either. I mean, I still look both ways before crossing the street.

Was anybody scared to be born? Death is just a natural part of the cycle. You're probably more afraid of HOW you'll die than anything else. You might not have a chance to draw a "final" breath, or if you're lucky, you'll be asleep. Don't spend so much time worrying about it. It'd be like dreading the sunrise. It'll come when it comes.

the only factor that freaks me out isn't understanding HOW i'm gonna die. i'm hoping it somewhat is no longer a brutal dying. i can't think of being stabbed again and again or burning or drowning. I prefer i ought to administration HOW and while yet whilst a no longer-so-religious guy or woman i comprehend that's no longer an selection. As for what comes after a guy or woman dies, properly i've got lost my brother, step-mom, dad, grandparents and particularly some, many pals so if there somewhat is a Heaven I think of seeing all human beings returned would be particularly the party.

If you let this wrap around you, your fear will prevent you from reaching your full potential. Do you dread people being born? For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. Realize simply, that life is short and you want to make the most of it...Not by partying until you're lifeless body gives out...But by holding the door for an old woman, being polite to all those macdonalds (and walmart) employees when they are busy. Life is too short to let small things worry you. Change the world into a better place, there are too many changing it for evil... You should change your negitive worrying energy into engergy from exersizeing or learning.

I dealt w/an advanced cancer about 5 years ago, which had metastasized to my pelvis & spine & I was in horrible pain due to bone fractures and the tumor sitting on the sciatic nerve base. I must be one of the few people ever who were glad to be told they had cancer because it gave my pain a name.

I spent a month in the hospital basically paralyzed below the waist and looped on painkillers. Basically, death is our most intimate friend and is there in the midst of life. Besides, my deceased grandmother came to see me and I know she's waiting for me.

In answer to your question, I am not afraid of death (pain, however, scares the living heck out of me). I have no desire to prolong my life w/artificial means and recommend a living will to everyone.

No, I'm not afraid of dying. If anything I have a problem with the way it can transpire.
Drowning or burning is a morbid way to go, but what ever will be will be...
So far, I've been happy with my life and my children and family know I love them. As of today, I don't think I left a stone unturned.

Make the most of the life you have right now. Day by day. When you have spent it there is the most hopeless feeling. Where did it all go?
What really counted?

I am not afraid to die, it seems like an adventure when you believe in God.
The only part I hate is what it will do to my kids.
You know - the sad part, etc. for them. That makes me sad now. But I am not scared.

There is a thing in the Bible that says, "What God has planned for people who love him is more than eyes have seen or ears have heard. It has never even entered our minds!"

How can you not look forward to that?

I want to die doing something extreme, when I'm older of course. I'm only 15 so the idea of death scares me. I try not to get depressed by it, and I keep some humor in it by chosing coolways to die: In a tragic accident involving a zoo keeper and a drunk zoo janitor; trying to do a fancy move in a two person plane crashing into a barn; exploring an unstable cave,&c.

I'm not afraid of death. I'm just afraid of the pain it might cause to others such as family (and to myself) and I'm afraid of not having enough time to do all the things I want to do in life. If I live to be really old, accomplished, and happy then I will look forward to resting in peace. I don't fear death because I know my spirit will live on in heaven and in the hearts of others.

wow, i shouldn't be thinking of these things at 13!

Puhleasee... life's short enough as it is to overthink something as trivial as that!
Channel that into something worthwhile... like stop & smell the roses ~> ever heard of it?!=P
Having been through with my Dad over his battle with cancer & then to watch him die...
He lead a life full of self-doubts, worries, insecurities...
If anything it's taught me a valuable lesson.
Seriously, I'm more in fear of not living a full life than my impending death!
