Well, I would definitely be eating more of them...cranberries just looks better in writing for me, and I'm a real aestheticist.

Suddenly is not possible in this context. A blueberry is a blueberry, and as far as I am concerned, always will be.

I have no childhood memories of walking through the forest picking cranberries
(ewww) :-D

However, to paraphrase a well-known author: A blueberry with a different name is still a blueberry :-)

So, my answer is "no..."

If suddenly the names were switched, and cranberries became known as blueberries and vice versa, I would find myself not liking cranberries because of the gross way the skin ends up tasting.

Yes it would. I like blueberries for the flavor, not the name. Cranberries are good, but I prefer blueberries by a landslide. A rose by any other name would smell as sweet, but anything else falsely labeled a rose is not, in face, a rose.

Blueberries are NOT cranberries. I will always ... always, mind you, maintain a deep seated love, of ... cranberries. Whoops! I meant blueberries! Honest! Cranberries taste awful in muffins!

Yes, because if I'm eating a fruit that's called blueberry when it's not blue, then I'll be confused. And confusion is the last thing I want to happen when I'm eating.
