and yet another symptom of pregnancy. Sometimes caused by hormones, sometimes by that skin stretching to fit that big and ever growing tummy. Palmers cocoa butter or any low water content lotion should help... Also keep showers down in case it is just dry skin, the lotion should help in that case too... if it still is unberrable, your doc should perscribe something a little stronger than lotion to help. Good luck.
Oatmeal baths are also so wonderful for this whole body thing.

it's probly just where your skin is stretching... I used Palmer's Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks... it works wonders. Also i was told to avoid hot showers or baths b/c it will dry your skin out a whole lot faster. Good Luck on the rest of your pregnancy!! :)

Try using more lotion. That happened to me with one of my pregnancies. You can also soak in the Aveno Oatmeal bath stuff. It helps, then apply lotion after you get out. I think it has to do with the skin stretching out all over. Be sure if you soak in the tub to have help getting out....cause you don't want to fall.
Hope these suggestions helped. Best wishes and good luck :)

i have that alot sometimes too, i think its actually your circulation, because during pregnancy you have more blood flow, and i think thats what might cause the itching. or it could be stretching of the skin, but what i did was took a shower, and dried off really good with the towel, and it got a little better, so i was able to sleep.

I had that same problem and I had my husband rub cocoa butter all over me. It soothed the itching that is caused by your skin stretching to accommodate your little one. Good luck with the baby they are truly wonderful.

at 34 weeks your skin is at its most streaching point. There is not alot you can do before you see the doctor. Just use alot of lotion. Keep your skin moist. NO smelly lotion, or others. Just regular lotion.
