I'm thinking along the lines of "A Secret Garden" to "Charolettes Web." The more the better...give me what you know and like! I really appreciate it!! :)

What ages? There are great picture books and great classic books (that are longer) for older children.

Check out your local public library and ask the Children's Librarian for a list of books! He/she will be happy to help.

Check out your local library. Type in classic books on the internet. A school librarian (Elementary) might be a big help.

The Laura Ingalls Wilder Books ie. "Little House in the Big Woods" and

The Beverly Cleary books ie "Beezus and Ramona" and "Ribsy" and "Henry and Ribsy"

When I first read your question the first book to pop into my head was "Charlotte's Web". But then I saw you listed it as an example.

Dr. Suess has lots of classics, "Green Eggs and Ham" being my fav, he also did "The Cat in the Hat". There's the "Amelia Bedilia" series. That is funny. "Curious George" is another good series. Babaar is a good one. "The Polar Express" is memorable. "Charlottes Web" is unforgettable. There are plenty of them, just check your local library!
