I think what you're looking for is the absence or reduced comprehensive sex education programs replaced with abstinence only programs; lack of reproductive rights options in schools and communities; the role of religion in guiding the idea that having sex before marriage is a sin and if you do have sex, abortion is not an option as you must be punished for sinning; and the list goes on.

The leading cause of teenage pregnancy is teenage boys, especially ones with cars. The next leading cause is the inability of some teenage girls to form the letters "N" and "O" into a complete word.

OK, seriously.. on an organizational level? Like it's some kind of corporate issue? I think the term "organizational level" is being misused, but here's a stab at it...

Typically, lack of organization would be a cause of teen pregnancy. When teens belong to organized social groups, such as sports, special interest clubs, church groups or the like, they tend to have higher self esteem gained through activities shared with their peers and supervised by adults. They tend to have less sex as a result, and therefore teenage pregnancies occur less frequently within these groups.

Alternately, it could be that left to their own devices, teens tend to loosely organize into sub-groups, or cliques, some of which can influence members of the group into performing activities that individuals would normally have common sense enough not to perform. This is peer pressure. Of course, one of the activities advocated by the group is, in some cases, sex.

One could also make a case that freely available contraception and lack of fear of parents finding out about the use of contraception, coupled with an increased tendency to have sex based on the relative safety provided by the contraception would result in a number of teen pregnancies every year. How? Not all methods of contraception are 100% effective. As well, some methods will fail if not used correctly. Add increased sexual activity to the equation and the odds of pregnancy occurring become greater, contraception or not.

Then there are issues such as teenage prostitution. Teenage prostitutes are generally "managed" by a pimp, who has other prostitutes and operates in an organized fashion. If the pimp is part of a larger group of individuals who all use crime as a lifestyle, then he (and the teenage prostitute) are engaged in organized crime. Of course, many teen prostitutes become pregnant.

If you want to view society in general as an organization, then another cause of teenage pregnancy can be one's position within that organization. The lower the "rank", the higher the chances of teenage pregnancy. In other words, relative poverty and a lack of resources to educate members of the "lower" echelons of society also increase the risk of teenage pregnancy.

I hope that helps.

I think some causes of teenage pregnacy is the pressure. Some teens here from thier friends about sex and then think, hey it is okay it wont harm me and it feels good. They don't really realize until they find out they are pregnant. I think we should make teens aware of the problems that mistake will cause in the future.

Teenagers who are lead by peers. Who see loads of hollywood about it and believe that it fulfills them. Teens who are affected by drugs and alcohol, who weren't necessarily planning on having sex.

It is a lack of education about sex, about being aloud to abstain and that it is ok. About the most effective types of contraception.

Lack of education about relationships, as it is an action 2 people take.

Also on an organisational level we tell kids to experiment with their sexuality, when really sexual it is not an experiment but a core part of a person and really should not be entered in to lightly, or because I feel I am in love... Love is not a feeling but an act of one's will.
