It's NEVER too late, but don't kill yourself of course!
There are quick tutors, but you just have to find them. I improved my score about 200 points after having a tutor for 2 weeks, and it's because he showed me TECHNIQUES rather than simply doing 100000 diagnostic tests. Also I HIGHLY recommend that you take practice SAT tests everyday even if it is only 1-2 sections a day from the big blue Collegeboard SAT "The Officialy SAT Study Guide". (You can buy it on Collegeboard.com or Barnes and Nobles. Also, you can improve by trying to do the essay prompts because that counts a lot too!

Hope I helped :)

Well hopefully you meant Nov. 12, and a tutor is a very good idea. The more help with tests the better!

given the fact that november 2nd was 4 days ago, yes, i do think it is too late.

however if a private tutor can help you signifacantly even if only for a few hours. they help you to understand test taking techniques and the midset of the writers of the test more than specific topic questions.

December 2nd....sure, that will give you plenty of time to get a tutor and get you help with what you really need help with. Major problem areas and they can give you hints on how to solve them. I would contact your school and see if they can recommend someone. Good luck!
