Yes, it's OK if the person is a public figure, using their position to advocate bigotry against gay people. The issue is not really their being gay. It's their hypocrisy that's offensive. And hypocrisy that also encourages harmful, negative views regarding gay people should absolutely be by exposed.

If you mean tell others about their choice of lifestyle without their knowledge or consent, then no it isn't ok. Even if you are like me, and don't believe in the lifestyle, I do still believe in the old religious adage, "hate the sin, love the sinner". So no matter my views, treating someone badly like that is not showing love or basic human consideration. Do you dislike/hate this person or want revenge? Ask why you would want to do this, probably not a very nice reason.

Overall, never. I think it is a totally different case though when a close friend continually avoids the issue of his or her sexual orientation -- yet uses you as as sounding board to indirectly talk about themselves. That is where I draw the line. But there (and I've only done this once) the confrontation of sorts was in private and just between my friend and me.

I have a double standard and it may be wrong but here's what I think; for your everyday average Jane or Joe, it's no body's business unless they themselves put it out there. Now for elected officials and "others" who are so against certain activities on the outside but privately do just what they preach against, then getting them out in the open is what should be done.

hell no; you would not want someone else going and blabbing your private issues just cuz they think it would be best. if your a goodie- 2-shoes you most likely will and if you have any morals about you at all it is none of your frickin' business who knows what about another person. unless it is something like being a child molester or drug dealer then it would be good to OUT someone. And if it happened to you; i am very sorry. The blabber mouth should get whats coming to them. BAD KARMA!!!

No. People need to mind their own business and respect the privacy of others(that includes celebrities) unless that persons actions are criminal or can or will cause harm to others.

no, a person's sexuality is their own business, and they should come out (or not) in their own time.
except in the case of hypocritical church leaders and politicians who preach morality and fight against gay rights.....and then cheat on their spouses in a gay relationship. do as I say, not as do? it's wrong!

Only if they are public figures who have set themselves up as morally superior to others by condemning homosexuality and decrying the moral collapse of our nation due to the Gay Agenda.
Open season on those hypocrites, I say.
