Does anyone know how to make the microwavable body warmers or warm buddy as they are called in different places. I've seen them at craft shows and was thinking about making my own.

Try stuffing a bean bag with uncooked rice or small beans. They hold the heat from a microwave for a long time. Some places add herbs or essential oil to the mixture, but I think this would shorten the life of the body warmer.

If you micro rice, won't it turn into puffed rice? Like the cereal? I would do a search?
