Michigan has it all. Beautiful beaches, forests, meadows, big cities, cool people, cultural venues, great universities, great rivers, cool history.

Well I have visited New Jersey, PA, Rhode Island, Conn., Vermont, New Hampshire, Mass., Montana, Wyoming, Florida, Washington State, California, Alaska and Hawaii, but there is no place like home, so I would say NEW YORK-lots to do, lots to see, great restaurants within driving distance from the actual city, art, museums, change of season-you just can't beat NY. I might add that we probably have some of the best medical care available here too.

I've visited Florida, Arizona, California, Oregon, Hawaii, Alaska, & Washington. I liked all of them but I think I like Washington the best. Why? Because it's got beautiful scenery, nice friendly people & since I live in Vancouver BC I can travel there frequently for great little holidays!

Western Australia. Sunsets everynight. Friendly locals. Largest state in Oz. If you like the tropics - go north. If the cooler weather is for you - go south. It's not over populated. Some of the best beaches in the world. Diverse range of industries.

Well, I've only visited 45 of the 50 U.S. states plus the Canadian Maritime Provinces. But based on that, I'd say Minnesota -- relatively liberal, progressive, state, Great Lakes, great towns . . . and in Canada, probably Nova Scotia . . . for a lot of the same reasons, substituting the ocean for the Great Lakes.

I think my favorite state is Nevada because it is the desert and in Las Vegas there are a lot of casinos. I think Nevada is cool because you get to open the air condition really high because it is the only desert in the United States.

I would say Florida becasue of the good weather and the broad amount of beaches. Plus I live there now.

I would say Maryland is second cuz I lived there last and it's a lovely coastal bay state.

My favorite state is South Carolina. It is warm and near the ocean. I love the touristy feel of the whole area.

Can I say "state of bliss"? No, then I'll say Hawaii for the climate, the scenery, the lifestyle, the culture, the people, the color, just about everything.
