Do you think that the PS3 is going to be sold out like the Xbox 360 was last year until after Xmas?
Supposedly there is only 500,000 units being shipped on the release week... but from what I've read online on forums, Sony is promising another 1-2 mil before December 31? Is there any real evidence of this?
I was planning on selling mine on ebay (Ugh, I'd like to keep it so bad!), but was wondering if I should sell on the release week or more towards Christmas, when demand is going to be SOARING like the Xbox last year.

Def. sell it!! Its going to be a HOTTT item and many stores are already sold out of their pre orders!! You will make a great profit and be able to another one plus more!!

You want to sell your 360 or PS3???
Anywayz....I'm pretty sure there's not going to be any demand for 360s with 2 BRAND NEW systems out with BRAND NEW games and other BRAND NEW stuff
but if your talking about getting a PS3 and selling it
then you should put it up on ebay the same night you get it because there going to be SOLD OUT since each stores only getting about 7 PS3s and if 1-2 million come out before Christmas then no ones going to go on ebay "Since your going to raise the price to make a profit" so instead there going to go to the store

NO. The mass hysteria will be for the Wii. Infact, its been "Wii-steria" for months already.
Some analysts are predicting the Wii might become the most popular console of all time. Its just that good.
I was at the Nintendo World Store in NYC on Saturday November 3rd...and the just the line to play the Wii for 5 minutes was a 5 hour wait!!! They had to cut off the line at noon because it was already around the block.

Probably, but don't forget Amazon's preorder forecast says the Wii's having an explosion as well. Do yourself a favor, and go into a hobby shop and ask to get started in a better hobby. If you're into racing, buy a RTR vehicle and drive away.

for sure..especially becuase there will only be a limited number of PS3s available at launch, so it will be a first come first serve situation..and besides, everyone wants a PS3 this christmas

I saw a PS3 pre-order on e-bay go for $1600.
Granted, there are some really stupid people on e-bay, but that's a lot even if you're stupid.... LOL
